A public forum: (FREE ADMISSION) Since "Silent Spring", health advocates and the chemical industry has disagreed over the safety of pesticides, PVC plastic, dioxin, diesel fumes and other toxic chemicals. Who is right? Can we assume that government and industry are providing adequate protections against dangerous chemicals? If we can't, how do we make smart decisions to protect our health, our family's health and the health of the community?

Come and hear the following solutions oriented speakers:
Gary Cohen, Health Care Without Harm
Michael McCally MD, Mount Sinai School of Medicine
Swati Prakash, West Harlem Environmental ACTion
Bill Walsh, Healthy Building Network
Erik Olsen, National Resources Defense Council

This event is cosponsored by CUNY, Continuing Education and Public Programs. To RSVP or to receive a free catalog of other upcoming programs contact (212) 817-8215 or ContinuingED@gc.cuny.edu
